Comfort Mode (VR)
A collection of VR-specific settings that reduce motion sickness, including vignetting during locomotion, snap turning, reduced movement speed, and static horizon references.

Without comfort options, a significant portion of new VR players will experience nausea within 15 minutes of smooth locomotion. Snap turning (teleporting camera rotation in fixed increments rather than smooth rotation) alone dramatically reduces simulator sickness for most players. VR titles that launch without comfort modes exclude a large segment of the market.
