Beta Feedback Loop Design

The systems and communication practices that make players in a beta feel their feedback is genuinely received, considered, and acknowledged, rather than fed into a void.

In games, this means

A beta with a feedback form but no acknowledgement, no change log, and no public response produces cynical testers. A beta with a public-facing issue tracker, regular 'what we heard this week' posts, and visible changes between builds produces invested advocates. The question players ask is not 'was my feedback logged?' but 'did it change anything?'
