Font Scaling / Text Size Accessibility

Allowing players to increase UI and subtitle text size beyond the default, a critical accessibility feature for players with low vision or those playing on distant screens.

In games, this means

A game played on a 65-inch TV from 10 feet away requires larger text than one played on a monitor at arm's length. Players with low vision may need 150–200% of default text size. Font scaling that only affects subtitles misses UI text. Scaling that breaks layout at larger sizes has not been properly implemented. Test at 150% before shipping.
