Camera Occlusion
The problem that occurs when geometry, objects, or characters block the camera's view of the player character or important gameplay information.
In games, this means
Walking into a narrow corridor in a third-person game and losing sight of your character behind a wall is camera occlusion. Solutions include camera transparency (making geometry see-through near the camera), automatic repositioning, or switching to first-person. Unhandled occlusion in platformers causes deaths that feel entirely unfair.
